Communication Setup

This sets up communication with equipment connected to the video communication terminal (VIDEO) or camera communication terminals (TELEMETRY A/B). Serial communication testing between connected equipment is also available.

Upon purchasing, the communication settings are set for connecting to our video equipment (DVR/MUX), and the settings do not need to be changed.

For communication setup for competitor video equipment, see the “Communications Chart”. (P86)

•Type:

This displays the equipment (DVR/MUX) connected to the video communication terminal. Changing the type will require changing the Protocol and Baudrate as well.

• Protocol:

This shows the communication protocol (SANYO DVR/MU) used on this unit.

• Baudrate:

Select the data transmissions speed (19200) for the connected video equipment.

• Keyboard Add:

This is the unit address.
