APPLYINGSIUCONE LUBRICANT hasa grounding plug as shown in Drawing 1below.
Toreduce the frictionof the walking belt and minimize
wear, a non-oil, non-petroleum-bosesiliconelubricant
mustbe applied to the walking platform before the
CROSSWALK isused. WITH THEPOWER CORD
UNPLUGGED,lift each sideof thewalking belt and
spraylubricantgenerouslyonto the area shadedin the
drawingbelow. Reapplylubricant after everyten hours
of use,or whenever performancedecreases. Lubricantis
availableat hardwareand automotivestores.

PLUGGINGIN THEPOWER CORD
Thisproductmust be grounded. If itshouldmalfunction

equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug.

Thetemporary adapter shouldbe usedonly until aprop-
erlygrounded outlet (Drawing 1)can be installedby a
qualifiedelectrician. The green-colored ear, lug, or the
likeextending from the adapter mustbe connected to a
permanent ground suchas a properly grounded outlet
boxcover. Whenever the adapter is used,it mustbe
heldin place by a metal screw.
Some2-pole receptacle outlet box coversare not
grounded. Contact a qualified electrician to determine
if the outletbox cover is grounded before usingan

adapter.
