8 Mounting the Radiators

Installation

Wherever possible, install the radiators such that they are orientated directly towards the infra-red receivers. The easiest way to achieve this is to mount the radiators as high as possible with a slight downward inclination. For uniform coverage, the radiators should be installed “decentralised”, for example in the corners of the room.

Distance between Radiators and Receivers

Please observe a minimum distance of 2 m between radiators and receivers. Smaller distances could overmodulate the receiver input stage, which would result in a very poor transmission quality.
