Il SZI 1015-T è un radiatore a raggi infrarossi di potenza con modulatore integrato. All’interno di un impianto di trasmissione del suono senza fili a raggi infrarossi, esso ha il compito di trasformare il segnale elettrico fornito da una sorgente BF in luce infrarossa invisibile e di diffonderla. A differenza dei sistemi a radio frequenza la trasmissione rimane circoscritta ad una stanza, quindi possono essere in funzione altri impianti nei locali adiacenti.
