Installatie

De zenders moeten zo worden geïnstalleerd dat de infraroodontvangers het uitgezonden signaal zo goed mogelijk kunnen ontvangen. Dit bereikt u door de zenders zo hoog mogelijk en iets naar beneden gericht te plaatsen. Voor een gelijkmatige verdeling van het infraroodsignaal over de ruimte, moeten de zenders decentraal worden geplaatst; meestal worden de zenders in de hoeken van de ruimte geplaatst.

Afstand tussen de zenders en ontvangers

Let op dat er een minimumafstand van 2 m tussen de zenders en de ontvangers wordt aangehouden, omdat er anders gevaar voor overmodulatie van het ingangsniveau van de ontvanger bestaat. Dit resulteert in een sterk verminderde overdrachtskwaliteit.
