HStoring a special message in memory

Selecting and storing a built-in message:

1While in the stop mode, press the MESSAGE button.

IYou can do this even when the power is off.

ITo enter a message in extra large characters: Press the DISPLAY button.

2Press the or on the MULTI CONTROL button to select

"SPECIAL MESSAGE".

IIf the clock is not set, you cannot select "SPECIAL MESSAGE". Adjust the clock, and then try selecting again.

3Press the ENTER button.

4Enter the month and day that you want to display the special message, using the MULTI CONTROL button.

IFor details on how to enter the month and day, see page 10.

5Press the ENTER button.

IThe built-in messages stored in memory will appear.

6Press theoron the MULTI CONTROL button to select the message you want to display.

7Press the MESSAGE button.

IA special message will be stored in memory. When the power is turned on when the specified day comes, the set special message will appear.

Note:

IYou can store up to 12 special messages in memory. After this, each subsequent new message stored in memory will cause the earliest message to be erased.
