Connecting external devices

Be sure to turn off the Receiver and any external equipment before making connections.

Firmly connect a cable to a terminal or socket.

Carefully read the operation manual of each external device for possible connection types. This also helps you get the best audiovisual quality to maximise the potential of the Receiver and the connected device.

The cables illustrated in pages 13 to 15 are commercially available items.

EHD Ready TV

The HDMI connection permits digital video and audio transmission via a connection cable to a TV. The digital picture and sound data are transmitted without data compression and therefore lose none of their quality. Analogue to digital conversion is no longer necessary in any connected devices, which would also result in quality losses.
