LAN Group Configuration

LAN Group Configuration allows you to configure settings for each LAN group. Notice that you can also view the status of advanced services that can be applied to a LAN group. Green indicates that the service is enabled, while red indicates that the service is disabled.

Unmanaged

 

Unmanaged is a state when the LAN group is not configured and

 

 

no IP address has been assigned to the bridge.

 

 

 

Obtain an IP address

 

When this function is enabled, your router acts like a client and

requests an IP address from the DHCP server on the LAN side.

 

 

 

 

IP Address

You can retrieve/renew an IP address from the DHCP server

 

 

using the Release and Renew buttons.

 

 

 

 

Netmask

The subnet mask of your router.

 

 

 

PPP IP Address

 

Enables/disables PPP unnumbered feature.

 

 

 

 

IP Address

The IP address should be different but within the same subnet as

 

 

the WAN-side IP address.
