Fast access
key
The left soft key and the keys 2 to 9
(speed dialling numbers) can each
be assigned an important phone
number or a function. The phone
number can then be dialled or the
function can be started at the touch
of a button.

A function/phone number may be
assigned to the left soft key for fast
access.
Change
§Internet. Press briefly.
§Change§ Pick out the application
from the list.
• Assign the new function (e.g. New
SMS) to the soft key.
• Special case Phone number.
Pickout a name from the Phone-
book (e.g. "Carol") to assign to the
softkey.
§Select§ Confirm setting.
Apply
The setting "Ca rol" is use d here only
as an example.

Notes
A function may already have been pro-
grammed on the left soft key by your serv-
ice provider (e.g. access to "p SIM
Services"). It may not be possible to modify
this key assignment.
The soft key may sometimes be replaced
automatically by ©/hto access a
new message for example.
