System Events

You can enable or disable, as a group, the logging of the following events:

Software update available

Network update available

Primary WAN failover

Primary WAN switchback

Unexpected data connection loss

Changes to miscellaneous settings

The following system events are always logged:

Intrusion alerts

Unexpected power loss

Critical battery

Critical temperature

Routing hardware settings reset

Firmware update

Enabling and Disabling Logging of System Events

1.Log in to the home page.

2.Click Advanced settings > Device > Log.

3.In the System Events section, select Enable or Disable.

4.Click save.

Note: Certain events are always logged; see “System Events” (above).

Exporting System Events

1.Log in to the home page.

2.Click Advanced settings > Device > Log.

3.Ensure System Events is set to Enable.

4.Click Export.

Clearing the System Events Log

1.Log in to the home page.

2.Click Advanced settings > Device > Log.

3.Ensure System Events is set to Enable.

4.Click Clear log.
