Danger from electric shock

Observe the following safety instructions to avoid electric shock hazards:
►Do not use the device if the mains power plug or the connection cable are damaged.
►Do not, under any circumstances, open the device housing. The risk of an electric shock is present if the power carrying connections are touched or the electrical or mechanical construction is changed.
Handling of batteries

For safe handling of batteries observe the following safety instructions:
►Do not throw batteries into a fire.
►Do not short circuit batteries.
►Do not attempt to recharge batteries.
►Regularly check the condition of the batteries. Leaking battery acid can cause permanent damage to the device. Special caution should be shown when handling damaged or leaking batteries. Danger from acid burns! Wear protective gloves.
►Store batteries in a place inaccessible to children. If swallowed seek immediate medical attention.
►If you do not intend to use the device for an extended period of time, remove the batteries.
