Because of the symmetrical construction of the film insert, the empty spool 2 does not need to be displaced. Press the spring lug 1 outwards and insert the film spool between the spool bearings in a way that the black inside of the paper lies outwards.

Make sure that the film runs to the empty spool as illustrated by the symbol 3. Put the paper leader straight into the empty spool. Wind the paper leader up until the arrow markings on the paper leader are aligned with the index on the spring lug.
