OVEREDGE STITCH

This is the same type stitch used by the garment industry in making sportswear - it forms and finishes the seam in one operation. It’s very effective for use in repairing raw or worn seams of garments.

POINT SURJET EXTENSIBLE

Point extensible spécial pour assembler et surfiler en une seule opération. Il est utilisé dans l’industrie de la confection, surtout pour les vêtements de sport, comme les maillots de bain. Il peut cependant aussi s’utiliser sur des tissus non-extensibles.

C’est très efficace pour réparer des coutures défaites ou des vêtements endommagés.

FEATHER STITCH

The pleasing appearance of this stitch enables it to be used for decorative topstitching or for attaching laces and trims. It is also ideal for quilting applications and edge-joining.

POINT PLUME

L’aspect agréable de ce point lui permet de servir de couture visible à plat, pour assembler les dentelles ou pour l’insertion de pièces de type lingerie. Il est aussi idéal pour le matelassage et l’assemblage.

RIC-RAC STITCH

Ric-rac is primarily used for a decorative top-stitch. It is ideal for edging neck-bands, armholes, sleeves and hems. When manually adjusted to a very narrow width, it also can be used for sewing high-stress seams.
