5.3 Accessing the Wireless Cable Modem Gateway’s Web Management

To access the Wireless Cable Modem Gateway’s web-based management screens, follow the steps below:

1.Launch your web-browser.

NOTE: Your computer does not have to be ONLINE to configure the Wireless Cable Modem Gateway.

2.In the Address Bar, type: http://10.1.10.1

Note: For some browsers, it may be necessary to include:88 after the management IP

address. For example: http://10.1.10.1:88

3.When the Gateway’s Login screen appears, enter the default username and password, and click the [Login] button to access the Wireless Cable Modem Gateway.

There are 2 default login accounts, one for the User and one for the Installer, both sets of information are listed below:

INSTALLER

USERNAME: mso

PASSWORD: w0rkplac3rul3s

USER

USERNAME: cusadmin

PASSWORD: highspeed

NOTE: Username and Password are case sensitive

4.Once you have logged into the Gateway’s web-based admin screen, you have several options and features which can be configured.
