BOILER SET UP
NOTE: Before starting the boiler, turn off the electrical supply going to it. Make sure that gas is available at the combination control inlet. Open the valves in the return and supply piping. Failure to take these precautions will prevent the boiler from operating properly.
Fill the boiler and all of the radiation with water. Make sure that the system is completely purged of air.
Review these instructions and make sure that the boiler installation complies with ALL of the stated instruction up to this point.
Flame Roll-out Safety Shutoff System
The GB100W gas boiler is fitted with a flame
Never attempt to bypass the flame
The boiler should be inspected and serviced before each heating season by a qualified service agency. The boiler flue passages, venting system, ignition components and the burners should be cleaned and examined for deterioration due to corrosion. All operational characteristics of the boiler such as combustion products, the ignition safety shutoff devices and proper control function must be thoroughly checked out.
During the heating season, the owner should check the boiler and the area around it at least once a month. Clear away all objects on or near the boiler. Ensure that there is no discoloration of adjacent combustible materials due to heat. If there is, IMMEDIATELY call the installer or a qualified service agency.
