To unblock a locked SIM card
1When SIM card locked. Enter the PUK code provided by your operator appears, enter the PUK code and tap OK.
2Enter a new PIN code and tap OK.
3Repeat the new PIN code and tap OK.
Screen unlock pattern
You can secure data in your phone with a screen unlock pattern that only you know how to draw. Your phone stores this pattern, and when you start your phone or activate the screen, you are asked to draw it.
It is very important that you remember your screen unlock pattern. If you forget it, it may not be possible to restore important data such as contacts and messages. Please refer to your Sony Ericsson contact center.
To create a screen unlock pattern
1From the Home screen, drag 
upwards.
2Find and tap Settings > Location & security > Set unlock pattern.
3Follow the instructions in your phone. You will be asked to select a security question that will be used to unlock the phone if you forget your screen unlock pattern.
To unlock the screen using a screen unlock pattern
1Press 
or 
to activate the phone.
2Drag your finger along the path and then draw your screen unlock pattern.
To change the screen unlock pattern
1From the Home screen, drag 
upwards.
2Find and tap Settings > Location & security > Change unlock pattern.
3Follow the instructions in your phone.
To disable the screen unlock pattern
1From the Home screen, drag 
upwards.
2Find and tap Settings > Location & security.
3Unmark the Require pattern checkbox.
4Draw your screen lock pattern.
