Operating for the THEATRE SYNC function

Point the remote to the direction of TV and this system, then press THEATRE SYNC once.

While transmitting the code from the remote, the TV button flashes.

If this function does not work, change the transmit time. The transmit time varies depending on the TV.

To change the transmit time

Press and hold TV CH +* while entering the code for transmit time (see the table) using the number buttons.

The transmit time from the remote is selected. If you successfully set the transmit time code, the TV button flashes twice slowly. If the setting is unsuccessful, the TV button flashes 5 times quickly.

*Functions as both TV CH + and FUNCTION + button.

Note

This function is only for SONY TVs. (This function may not work on some SONY TVs.)

If distance between TV and this system is too far, this function may not work. Install the system near the TV.

Enjoying Multiplex

Broadcast Sound

(DUAL MONO)

You can enjoy multiplex broadcast sound when the system receive the Dolby Digital multiplex broadcast signal.

AUDIO

With the cover opened.

Press AUDIO.

Press AUDIO repeatedly until the signal you want appears in the front panel display. The default setting is underlined.

MAIN: Sound of the main language will be output.

SUB: Sound of the sub language will be output.

MAIN+SUB: Mixed sound of both the main and sub languages will be output.

Note

To receive the Dolby Digital signal, you need to connect a digital satellite tuner to the system with a digital cord (pages 38, 39) and set the digital output mode of the digital satellite tuner to Dolby Digital.
