Scanning stops when the system tunes in a station. “TUNED” and “ST” (for stereo program) appear in the front panel display.

Using the Video or Other Unit

You can use VCRs or other units connected to the VIDEO or SAT jacks. Refer to the operation manual supplied with the unit for further information on the operation.

Press FUNCTION repeatedly until “VIDEO” appears in the front panel display.

Each time you press FUNCTION, the mode of the system changes in the following sequence. TUNER FM t TUNER AM t VIDEO t SAT t TV* t DVD t TUNER FM t ...

*When selecting the TV, TV sound is output. When connecting to TV only using the SCART jack, no sound is output from TV.

To use a digital satellite receiver or other components with a high audio output level

Connect the satellite receiver to the SAT jacks of this system. You can also connect the components with a high audio output level (including 2V r.m.s components, such as MD, etc.) to the SAT jacks.

Presetting Radio Stations

You can preset 20 FM stations and 10 AM stations. Before tuning, make sure to turn down the volume to minimum.
