Locking Discs

(CUSTOM PARENTAL CONTROL, PARENTAL CONTROL)

You can set two kinds of playback restrictions for a disc.•Custom Parental Control

You can set the playback restrictions so that the system will not play inappropriate discs.

•Parental ControlPlayback of some DVDs can be limitedaccording to a predetermined level, such as the age of the viewer.

The same password is used for both Parental Control and Custom Parental Control.

Custom Parental Control

You can set the same Custom Parental Control password for up to 25 discs. If you set a 26th disc, the playback restriction of the disc for which you first set the password is cancelled.
