Note

•Place the calibration mic so that the “FRONT” side of it is pointed toward the front speakers.

11 Press X/x to select [YES], then press

[AUTO CALIBRATION] starts. Be quiet during the measurement.

Note

•Loud test sound is output when [AUTO CALIBRATION] starts. You cannot turn the volume down. Give consideration to children and neighbor.

•Avoid being in the measurement area and making noise during the measurement (which takes about 1 minute), as it may interfere with measurement.

12 Unplug the calibration mic and press C/cto select [YES].Quick Setup is finished. All connections and setup operations are complete.

The distance and audio level of the front speaker (L) and (R), and the audio level of the subwoofer are displayed. (The distance values are expressed in feet and meters for North American models, and meters for European models.)

Measurement complete.

•If you change the position of the speakers, perform [AUTO CALIBRATION] again. See “Calibrating the Appropriate Settings Automatically” (page 73).
