Taking a Picture with the Self-Timer
In this mode, after pressing the release button, the shutter automatically clicks after a set period of time.
How to set the time between the pressing of the release button and the shutter release is described in the Miscellaneous Settings section (page 73).

When taking photographs in the auto focus mode, press the release button halfway to focus, then press it all the way to take the shot.
