Communicating by voice
AIBO uses a stereo microphone as its ears and can recognize a variety of sounds and words. In the beginning, it will recognize only a few words. When you talk to it, AIBO will tilt its head in puzzlement. As it matures, AIBO will come to understand more and more words.
The next page shows some of the words that AIBO knows. Use them to talk to AIBO. Keep in mind, though, that even if AIBO understands you, it may choose to ignore you, depending on its mood.
