Learning its name
After you teach AIBO its name, it will respond whenever it hears it. If you teach it a new name, it will forget the old one and respond to the new one. Even after you give AIBO a name, it will still respond when you call it “AIBO.”
xRegistering AIBO’s name
AIBO’s name can be stored inside of AIBO. To do this, say the words “name registration.” AIBO’s tail light will flash and alternate between blue and orange as AIBO asks you its name. Teach AIBO its name. Please note that registration of AIBO’s name is not possible before AIBO reaches babyhood stage 4 (page 41).
To see if AIBO knows its name, say “What’s your name?” AIBO will respond by telling you its name in its own special voice.

Please note that AIBO recognizes a name registered with AIBO Life only when it is being operated with the AIBO Life software. It will not recognize the name when it is being operated with other
