After picking AIBO up,
it stops moving.
Although the mode
indicator is flashing
and AIBO makes a
sound, it does not move

AIBOs chest light

The chest light does not
turn off even after the

AIBO asks to be
charged even with a
fully charged battery
pack.
There is no sound.
AIBO is in pick-up mode.
tVerify that the mode light is flashing or not. If it is,
place AIBO on the floor. If it doesnt move after a
while, press its head sensor for more than 3 seconds.
It is in jam mode.
tPlace AIBO on the floor and press its head sensor
for more than 3 seconds.
There may be a problem with the battery pack.
tReplace the battery pack with a new one (page 17).
There is a problem with the program.
tVerify that the lock indication changes to white, take
out the battery pack (see the AIBO ERS-210
operating instructions), and then reinsert the battery
pack. Afterwards, press the pause button.
With a fully charged battery pack, AIBO Life can
normally operate for about 1.5 hours (in autonomous
mode). If the operating period continues to be much
shorter, the battery pack may be reaching the end of its
service life. Replace it with a new battery pack (page
17).
The volume setting may be set to 0.
