1 While AIBO is in autonomous mode, call out the words “name registration.”
AIBO will make the “teach me my name” and “pet me” gestures.

2 Gently press AIBO’s back sensor or head sensor.
AIBO’s tail light flashes as AIBO waits for you to say its name.
Hints
•Pressing AIBO’s back sensor produces less noise, so AIBO can hear its name clearly.
•If you don’t do anything for 10 or more seconds, AIBO’s tail light goes off and the name registration condition ends.
