Clear Image Zoom
Sets whether or not to use [Clear Image Zoom] when the zoom feature of the camera is
used (page70). Provides a higher-quality zoomed image than with [Digital Zoom].

• You ca nnot use [Clear Image Zoom] with the following funct ions:
– [Sweep Panorama]
– [Smile Shutter]
– [RAW & JPEG] in [Quality]
• Dur ing movie recording, [Clear Image Zoom] is not availa ble.
• You ca nnot use [Clear Image Zoom] when [Drive Mode] is set to [Con t. Shooting] or [Bracket: Cont.].
Even if [Clear Image Zoom] is set to [On], the camera automatically shifts the zoom feature to [Digital
Zoom].
On Uses the [Clear Image Zoom] feature.
Off Does not use the [Clear Image Zoom] feature.
