24Connecting a Satellite Receiver with a VCR
1Connect the satellite antenna cable to the satellite receivers
SATELLITE IN jack.
2Connect the CATV cable to the VCRs VHF/UHF IN jack.
3Using a coaxial cable, connect the VCRs OUT jack to the
projection TVs CABLE jack.
4Using an A/V cable, connect the satellite receivers Audio and
Video O UT ja cks t o the VCRs Audio and Video IN jacks.
5Using an A/V cable, connect the VCRs Audio and Video OUT
jacks to the projection TVs Audio and Video IN jacks.
6If necessary, change the video input on your VCR. (For details,
see your VCRs instruction guide.)

If the peripherals you are connecting have S VIDEO jacks, you can use S VIDEO
cables for improved picture quality (compared to combination audio/video
cables). Because S VIDEO cables carry only the video signal, you will also need
audio cables for sound.
