Damage Requiring Service

Unplug the set from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified
service personnel under the following conditions:

damaged or frayed.

being droppe& or the cabinet has been damaged.
Ifthe setdoes not operate nomaally when
following theoperating instructions. Acliust only
those controls that are specified in the operating
instructions. Improper acliusmlent of other controls
may result indamage and will often require
extensive workby aqualified technician torestore
theset tonom_al operation.

Servicing

Donot attenapt to service theset yourself since opening
thecabinet may expose you to dangerous voltage orother

Replacement Parts

When replacement parts are required be sure the
service teclmician certifies inwriting that he/she
has used replacement parts specified by the
manufacturer that have the same characteristics as
theoriginal parts.
Unauthorized substitutions may result infire,
electric shock orother hazards.

Safety Check

lTpon completion of any service or repairs tothe set. ask
theservice technician to perform routine safety checks (as
specified by themanufi_cturer) to detemaine that the set is
in safe operating condition, and to so certify. \,X]lenthe set
reaches theend ofits useful life, improper disposal could
result ina picture robeimplosion. Ask aqualified service
technician to dispose of the set.

replacement of the obsolete ontlet.
10) Protect the power cord from being walked onor pinched particularly
atplugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit
from the apparatus.

12) Use only with the cart. stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by
the naanufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When acart is used,
use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid

13) Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for
long periods of time.
14) Refer all servicing to qualified service persormel. Servicing is
required when the apparatus has been damaged in an?"way, such as

exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been
dropped.
