Display the source list (page 16).
Press (SOURCE) repeatedly to select “HDD.”
Press the R dial to display the folder name list.

Restoring data into a “Memory Stick”

— Restore

Returning stored data to the “Memory Stick” in which the data originally existed.

2 Rotate the R dial to select “HDD,” then press the R dial.

3 Rotate the R dial to select “DATA,” then press the R dial.

4 Rotate the R dial to select the backed up folder/file, then press the R dial.

5 Rotate the R dial to select the data by the backed up date, then press (MENU).

6 Rotate the R dial to select “Restore,” then press the R dial.

Restore starts. The normal display appears when restore is completed.

7 Press (F3) ( ).

The normal display appears.

To cancel Restore

Press (F3) (CANCEL).

Notes

If the same kind of data already exists in a “Memory Stick,” the data cannot be restored.

You cannot restore the data while the “Memory Stick” is being played back.

If you restore backed up folder/files whose names are over 8 characters, the number of characters decrease to 8.

Erasing data stored on the HDD

3 Rotate the R dial to select “DATA,” then press the R dial.

4 Rotate the R dial to select the data by the backed up date, then press (MENU).

5 Rotate the R dial to select “Erase,” then press the R dial.

The confirmation dialog appears.

6 Rotate the R dial to select “OK,” then press the R dial.

The selected item is erased.

To cancel erasing

Select “Cancel” in step 6.
