Moving a track to an “MG Memory Stick”

Move-Out

You can take in movable music data on the HDD to an “MG Memory Stick.” With this operation (Move-Out), music data and all of its information are transferred and nothing is left remaining.

5 Rotate the R dial to select the track you want to Move-Out, then press the R dial.

The selected item is marked with “.”

In the default setting, all tracks are selected in the track name list.

To select specific tracks, press (F2) (ALL) to cancel the selection first.

To cancel the item being selected, press the R dial again.

6 Repeat step 5 to select all tracks you want to Move-Out.

7 Press (F1) (START).

Move-Out starts.

The normal display appears when Move-Out is completed.

To cancel Move-Out

Press (F3) (CANCEL).

Notes

Move-Out cannot be carried out if an “MG Memory Stick” is full or the number of Moved-Out tracks in an “MG Memory Stick” has reached the limit.

Only the tracks that can be Moved-Out are displayed in the list.

Tip

You can Move-Out up to 400 tracks to an “MG Memory Stick.”

Returning audio files to the

HDD

Move-In

The audio file and all information related are transferred to the HDD. The audio file information does not remain on the “MG Memory Stick” after Move-In is completed.
