Playing a tape
The system can play three types of tapes: Type I (normal), Type II (CrO2) and Type IV (metal). The system automatically detects the tape type so there is no need to specify it.
To turn on the system, press ?/1.

1 Press TAPE EJECT A and insert a recorded tape into the cassette holder.

2 Press TAPE.
“TAPE” appears.
3 Press DIR MODE on the remote repeatedly to select “ ” to play one side of the tape, “ ”to play both sides, or “ ”* to play both sides repeatedly.
*The tape automatically stops after playing back five times.
4 Press TAPE nN (or TAPE hH on the remote).
The tape starts playing.
To change the playback direction, press TAPE nN (or TAPE hH on the remote) again. The reverse side will begin playing.
