Listening to tracks of a selected album (Album Play) (in Hi-MD mode only)

If the track data includes the album name, you can listen to tracks of a selected album only.

1 Do step 1 and select “Album” in step

2 of “Playing tracks in Main play mode” (page 38).

A list of the albums on the disc appears in alphabetical order.

2 Turn the jog dial until the desired album name appears in the display, and then press NENT to enter.

A list of the tracks in the selected album appears in recorded order.

3 Turn the jog dial until the desired track appears in the display, and then press NENT to enter the selection. The name of the album to which the current track belongs appears in the display. The recorder plays the tracks in that album, from the current track to the last track.

You can cue to the first track of the next or previous album. While playing, press GROUP on the recorder, and press the 5-way control key

towards . or >. (Press + or – on the remote control.)

Listening to selected tracks only (Bookmark Play)

You can bookmark tracks on a disc and play them only. The sequence of bookmarked tracks cannot be changed.

To bookmark the tracks

1 While playing the track you want to bookmark, press NENT for 2 seconds or more.

Bookmark flashes.

The first track of the bookmark play is set.2 Repeat step 1 to bookmark the other tracks.To play the bookmarked tracks

1 Do step 1 and select “Bookmark” in step 2 of “Playing tracks in Main play mode” (page 38).

2 Turn the jog dial to select a track, and then press NENT to enter the selection.

The recorder plays the bookmarked tracks in the order of their track numbers.To erase bookmarks

While playing the track for which you want to erase the bookmark, press NENT for 2 seconds or more.
