software.
VAIO-Link website: if you have any problem with your computer, you can access the VAIO-Link web

VAIO-Link Response Centre: Before contacting VAIO-Link Response Centre, try to solve the problem
by reading the User Guides and he lp files for the peripherals or softwa re.
You need to plug in the phone line and configure you r modem for use before using the com munication features describe d in this manual.

About the computer and software

My computer does not start
Check that the computer is plugged into a power source and that it is turned on.
Check that the power indicator on the front panel of the compute r indicates that the power is on.
Check that the battery packs are inserted properly and that they are charged.
Make sure there is no diskette in the floppy disk drive.
Confirm that the power cord and all cables are connected firmly.
If you have plugged the com puter into a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), make sure the UPS is
turned on and works.
