Using the Ten-Key Bay unit

The Ten-Key bay unit is designed to work as an external numeric keypad. The external numeric keypad

 

Notebook

functions like the numeric keypad on the built-in keyboard. It is ideal for anyone using spreadsheet,

accounting or financial applications. See Using the keyboard (page 25).

 

 

 

 

To attach the Ten-Key bay, proceed as follows:

 

Sony

1 If another device is in the multipurpose bay, remove the device.

 

2 Slide the Ten-Key bay in the direction of the arrow until it clicks into place.

 

To remove the Ten-Key bay, proceed as follows:

1Slide the multipurpose bay release lever on the bottom of the computer in the direction of the arrow.

2Remove the Ten-Key bay.
