Using the CD Display

You can check information about the CD using the display.

DISPLAY

Checking the total number and playing time of the tracks

Press DISPLAY before you start playing.

The display shows the total number of tracks and total playing time.

The information also appears when you press

6OPEN/CLOSE to close the disc tray.

Displaying information while playing a CD

While playing a CD, the display shows the current track number and playing time.

Playing CD Tracks Repeatedly

You can play tracks repeatedly in any play mode.

REPEAT

Press REPEAT while playing a CD.

“REPEAT” appears in the display. This unit repeats the tracks as follows:

When the disc is played in	This unit repeats
Continuous Play (page 9)	All the tracks
Shuffle Play (page 11)	All the tracks in random
	orders
Programme Play (page 12)	The same programme

To cancel Repeat Play

Press REPEAT repeatedly until “REPEAT” disappears from the display.

Checking the remaining time

Each time you press the DISPLAY button while playing a CD, the display changes as shown in the chart below.

Repeating the current track

You can repeat only the current track.

While the track you want is being played, press REPEAT repeatedly until “REPEAT 1” appears in the display.

If the remaining time exceeds 100 minutes in programme mode, “– – . – –” appears instead of the remaining time.

Playing CD Tracks in Random Order (Shuffle Play)

You can have this unit “shuffle” tracks and play in a random order.
