Accessing the Security Menu
You must enter your lock code to view the Security menu.
1. Select > Settings > Security.
2. Enter your lock code.
Tip:If you never changed the lock code number and you can’t recall your
lock code, try using the last four digits of your phone number.
Using Your Phone’s Lock Feature
Locking Your Phone
Lock Phoneautomatically locks the keys. If you set Lock Phone,
you must enter the lock code beforehand to make a call.In this
way you can prevent other people from using your phone.
However,even when your phone is locked,you can make calls
to 111,Customer Service, and to special numbers without
entering the lock code.
1. From the Security Menu display (See “Accessing the Security
Menu”above),select Lock Phone.
2. Select Lock Nowor On Power-up.
Lock Now to lock your phone now.
On Power-up to lock your phone the next time it is
turned on.
3. Select either Full Lockor Exp. IncomingCalls.
Full Lockto restrict both outgoing and incoming calls.
Exp. IncomingCallsto restrict outgoing calls while
allowing incoming calls.
Unlocking Your Phone
1. From standby mode,press Unlock (left softkey).
2. Enter your lock code.
Changing the Lock Code
1. From the Security Menu display (See “Accessing the Security
Menu”above),select Others > Change Lock.
2. Enter and re-enter a new lock code.
