Sony SCP-7050 Dialing Options

To place a call with the phone closed:

1. Make sure your phone is on and the Side Key Guard feature is

disabled.(See “Setting Side Key Guard” on page 50.)

2. Press and hold Side Call key ( )on the right side of the

phone.

3. Follow the system prompts and say the name of your

registered voice dial tag (see the note below).

The call will be made in speakerphone mode unless you have a

headset or other accessory attached to the phone.

Note:To use a Voice Dial, you must have stored voice dial tags. (See

“Using Voice-Activated Dialing” on page 81.)

To redial with the phone closed:

1. Press the Call List key ( ).Recent Calls list appears on the

sub LCD.

2. Use the Side Volume key ( ) to highlight a Call History

entry you would like to redial.

3. Press and hold .

Tip:To redial your most recent call, press and hold and press

again.

Dialing Options

Dialing options are displayed when you press Options(right

softkey)after entering numbers in standby mode.

Abbrev. Dialto use the Abbreviated Dialing feature. (See

“Setting Abbreviated Dialing”on page 48 and “Using

Abbreviated Dialing”on page 25.)

Callto dial the phone number.

Call:Speaker Onto dial the phone number in speakerphone

mode.

Send Messageto send a text message (see page 103).

Save Phone#to save the phone number in your Contacts. (See

“Saving a Phone Number”on page 23.)

Findto display Contacts entries that end with the digits you

entered.(See “Finding a Phone Number” on page 24.)
