Phone Setup Options

My Favourites

Your phone offers you the option of assigning a shortcut to a

favourite or often-used function.Pressing Favourites (left

softkey)will launch your user-defined shortcut.

To assign your shortcut:

1. Press Favourites(left softkey).

2. Select <AddFavourite>.

3. Select an option and press .

Contactto display stored Contacts entries.

My Contentto display downloaded items stored in your

phone.

Web Bookmarkto display your bookmarked sites.

Menu Itemto assign an often-used menu item.

4. Using the navigation key or your keypad,select an item to be

assigned to the My Favourites list.

5. Press Assign (left softkey)to save if you select options other

than Contact.

To edit the shortcut:

1. Press Favourites(left softkey).

2. Highlight your desired menu and press Options (right softkey).

3. Select an option and press .

Replaceto replace an existing shortcut.

Removeto remove an existing shortcut.

Remove Allto remove all the existing shortcuts.

Helpto display the My Favourites list information.

Setting the Text Entry Options

1. Select > Settings > Others > Text Entry.

2. Select an option and press .

Auto-Capitalto set the auto-capital on or off.

My Wordsto add a word to or edit a word in the T9

database (see page 28).
