Speaker Placement

Normally, to obtain the best possible surround sound all speakers should be placed the same distance from your listening position (A).

This unit, however, allows you to place the centre speaker closer (B), so that it lines up with the front speakers. The rear speakers can also be placed closer (C), according to the shape of your room.

If you feel that this placement reduces the surround effects, you can adjust the centre and rear delay parameters to obtain the effect you desire (see page 9).

Note

To take full advantage of Dolby Digital (AC-3) surround effects we reccommend using high quality speakers. We also reccommend using front, centre, and rear speakers that are of the same size and quality.
