Copying images using “Image Transfer”

Windows XP is set so that the OS Auto Playback Wizard activates. Follow the procedure below to cancel the setting.

*This procedure does not need to be performed for subsequent image downloads.

aConnect the camera and your computer with a USB cable (page 68).

bClick [Start], then click [My Computer].

cRight-click [Sony MemoryStick], then click [Properties].

dCancel the setting.

1Set [Content type] to [Pictures].

2Check [Select an action to perform] under [Actions], select [Take no action], then click [Apply].

3Set [Content type] to [Video files] and [Mixed content], and repeat step 2.

4Click [OK].

The [Properties] screen closes.

eDisconnect and then reconnect the USB cable (page 69).

“Image Transfer” starts up automatically and the images are automatically copied to the computer.
