Enjoying the sound/images from other inputs
You can reassign video and/or audio signals to
another input.
For example, connect the OPTICAL OUT jack
of the DVD player to the OPTICAL BD IN
jack of this receiver when you want to input
the digital optical audio signals from the DVD
player.
Connect the component video jack of the DVD
player to the COMPONENT VIDEO IN 1 jack
of this receiver when you want to input the
video signals from the DVD player.
Assign video and/or audio signals to the DVD
input jack using “Input Assign” in the Input
Option menu.
1Press GUI MODE.
After “MENU ON” appears on the
display for a while, “GUI” appears and
the GUI menu appears on the TV screen.
Press MENU if the GUI menu does not
appear on the TV screen.
2Press V/v repeatedly to select
“Input”, then press or b.
3Press V/v repeatedly to select
the input name you want to
assign.
4Press TOOLS/OPTIONS.
5Press V/v repeatedly to select
“Input Assign”, then press
or b.
6Select the audio and/or video
signals you want to assign to
the input which you selected in
step 3 using V/v/B/b.
7Press RETURN/EXIT O to
enter the setting.
