1)Even in the status of the VAIO computer is unknown, if you press the SELECT button, select Connect, and then press the SELECT button again, you may be able to connect to the computer. Any of the following are possible if the connection is still not established after waiting a while.

The VAIO computer is on standby or hibernating.

cStart the VAIO computer. If you follow the instructions described in “Useful setting 3: Setting the VAIO computer to start automatically” (page 53), when you connect to the VAIO computer it automatically starts from standby or hibernation.

The VAIO computer is off. cStart the VAIO computer.

The network connection cannot be established.

cMake sure that the network connectors are correctly connected. If you are using a hub or a router equipped with a hub, make sure that it is on.
