Using Preset Sound Fields
You can take advantage of sound fields simply by selecting one of the five
SOUND FIELD
1Press one of the SOUND FIELD buttons so that the sound field you wish to use is displayed. Select the appropriate sound field as follows:

To turn off the sound fields
Press SOUND FIELD selected in Step 1.
OFF appears in the display, and the sound field’s effect is defeated.
When you use the remote
Press SOUND FIELD.
Each time this button is pressed, the display changes as follows:

1Press SUPERWOOFER ON/OFF to turn on the woofer.
The SUPERWOOFER indicator lights.
2Press LEVEL CONTROL WOOFER, then + or – to adjust the superwoofer level.
The woofer level is indicated on the level meter in the display.
3Press PHASE to select the polarity that provides the best bass reproduction.
You can also adjust the superwoofer using the controls on the amplifier
1Press WOOFER ON/OFF to turn on the woofer. The SUPERWOOFER indicator lights.
2Press WOOFER to select the woofer adjustment mode. The woofer level is indicated on the level meter in the display.
3Press + or – to adjust the woofer level.
Notes
•You can only adjust the woofer level when the woofer is on (when the SUPERWOOFER indicator is lit).
•You cannot use the superwoofer when you select PHONO.
