❑Battery life is shorter in a cold environment. This is due to decreas ed battery efficiency at low temperatures.

❑Charge battery packs at temperatures between 50°F to 86°F (10°C to 30°C). Lower temperatures require l onger charging

time.

❑Do not charge the battery pack in any way other than as described in this u ser guide or as designated by Sony in writing.

❑While the battery pack is in use or being charged, heat builds up in the battery pack. This is norm al and is not cause for

concern.

❑You do not need to discharge the battery pack before recharging.

❑If the battery pack quickly runs out of power after being fully charged , it may be reaching the end of its life and should be

replaced.
