n HOW TO ASSEMBLE THE PRINTER Now you’re ready to set up your printer for operation. Make sure
the printer is turned off before you begin.
Load the ribbon cassette:
Loading and replacing the one-piece ribbon cassette is a simple
and clean procedure:
Turn the knob on the cassette
counter-clockwise to tighten the
ribbon.
Snap the cassette onto the
carriage, as shown in the illus-
tration.
Check to make sure the ribbon
lies flat between the print head
and the print mask. Again, turn
the knob to take up any slack.
