REPLACING PARTS
4. ods pilot unit
Note: You cannot service the pilot unit due to the complex nature of its manufacture. Replacement of the complete unit must be carried out when one of the following items becomes faulty:
•Pilot injector
•Ignition electrode
•Thermocouple
4.1Access to the
E-STUDIO
4.2Gently pull the ignition lead off the electrode, Arrow A and undo the screw shown at Arrow B, Diagram 5.

4.3Lift the shroud up and away from the pilot.

4.4Remove the two screws securing the pilot assembly. Diagram 7, Arrow C.

4.5Gently pull the ignition lead off the electrode, Diagram 8, Arrow A.
4.6Remove the two screws securing the pilot assembly, Diagram 8 Arrow B.

4.7Undo the thermocouple connection at the back of the gas valve and the pilot pipe at the pilot elbow, Diagram 9 Arrows B and C.
