Crab Mornay Snacks
1 tablespoon butter 1½ tablespoons flour ½ milk
¼ cup dry white wine
1 tablespoon lemon juice
200g crab meat
2 shallots, finely chopped
¼cup grated tasty cheese 8 slices bread, buttered
Melt butter in a small saucepan. Add flour and cook 1 minute. Gradually add milk and wine. Stir over heat until mixture boils and thickens. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cool slightly.
4 minutes or until golden brown. Repeat with remaining sandwiches.
