SAS Ports

There are two SAS ports, one located on the backplane and the other on the serverboard near the floppy connector. See the table on the right for pin definitions.

SIMLC (IPMI Slot)

The SIMLC slot on the H8QM3-

2and H8QMi-2 is reserved for an optional IPMI card.

Note: with an IPMI card in- stalled in the SIMLC slot, the PCI-X slot #1 cannot be popu- lated due to mechanical con- cerns.
