CONFIGURING THE PTZ MENU OPTIONS
1. To get to the PTZ Menu, access the
GENERAL menu by clicking the right mouse
button on the Live Display screen.
2. Click the SETUP icon.
3. Enter your password (the default password
is ‘1234’) and select OK.
4. Click the GENERAL button.
5. Click the CAMERA button.
6. Choose PTZ SETUP on the left hand side of the window.
7. To navigate through the PTZ Setup menu, use the mouse to click the status (OFF, ON, etc) of the setting you wish to change. You will see the
outline of the status turn green.
8. Use the buttons to choose the preferred setting.
9. When you have made all the desired changes to the PTZ SETUP menu, click APPLY. If you wish to exit without saving changes, click in the
top right corner of the window.
NOTE: Each of the settings within the PTZ SETUP menu are described in detail below.
ADDRESS: The Camera Address of the PTZ camera. This is determined by the settings on the PTZ camera._ Refer to the camera’s instruction
manual and enter this number accordingly.
PROTOCOL: Select the protocol for the camera. Refer to the camera’s instruction manual and make sure that its protocol is on the list of
compatible protocols listed on pg.101. Select the camera’s protocol from the list.
BAUD RATE: The communication speed for the PTZ speed. Can be 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, and 38400 BPS. Refer to the camera’s instruction
manual for its Baud Rate.
