TROUBLESHOOTING CHECKLIST

NETWORKING REQUIREMENTS

PREPARING THE DVR

I have done the following to the DVR in the following order:

□Shut down (turned off) the DVR.

□Connected the Ethernet cable to the back of the DVR.

□Connected the other end of the Ethernet cable into my router.

□Turned the DVR back on.

□Ensured that the DHCP, DDNS, and Web Service boxes under the Networking menu is checked (General>System>Network). All boxes should have the yellow checkmark in them.

□After hitting APPLY to save the changes, the system has restarted.
